• Account information: name, email, phone number, password (hashed), ZIP code / address.
• Listing content: titles, descriptions, photos and videos you upload.
• Transaction data: rental history, payments processed through Stripe, ratings and reviews.
• Approximate location derived from your ZIP code, used to show tools within a 25-mile radius.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the marketplace: matching renters with nearby tools, processing payments and deposits, sending verification and rental-status emails, and maintaining trust and safety through ratings and admin review.

3. Sharing

We share limited information between renters and owners on a confirmed rental (name, rating, contact details as needed for pickup). We share payment details with Stripe to process transactions. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

5. Your choices

You can update your profile information at any time. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support, subject to retaining records required for completed transactions.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Payment card data is handled directly by Stripe and never touches our servers.

7. Children's privacy

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
